Paper: election shots heard in Gyumri

Shots have been heard in one of the districts of Armenian northern city of Gyumri, according to Hraparak daily.

Among the participants of the skirmish, Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s son’s name, Spartak, who has just returned from Russia, is being mentioned again. Rumors are afloat that Spartak with his friends has quarreled with some fellows in the district, who support mayoral candidate Samvel Balasanyan, and shots have been heard afterwards, the paper says.

He only mentioned, that the circumstances are being investigated and that there were no casualties in the incident, the paper reports.
