Parliament vice-speaker slams Turkey as racist, Armenophobic

At the September 11 joint conference with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan dwelled on Karabakh conflict settlement, stressing intention to continue supporting Baku.

As vice-speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov noted in this context, “Turkish PM is publicly expressing support for Baku, while OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs – U.S., Russia and France, as well as major international organizations condemn Azeri leadership’s inhuman and immoral steps.

The statements of the official of the country, struggling to join the EU prove that the international community is dealing with a country promoting Armenophobic and racist moods.”
