Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan will pay a working visit to Austria to attend “Caucasus and Central Asia” ministerial conference.

The participants will focus on trade, investments, finance, tourism and energy sectors, as well as new opportunities for economic cooperation with European countries, the ministry’s press service reported.

The minister is expected to meet with European Commission's deputy director general for trade Peter Balas, Austrian Federal Minister of Economy Reinhold Mitterlehner and Deputy Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development(OECD).

Minister Davtyan will further depart for Rome to participate in Armenian-Italian business forum. On September 27, he will hold meetings with Italian Minister of Economic Development Corrado Passera, Minister of Tourism and Sport Piero Gnudi and President of Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Santo Santoro.
