CZECH SENATOR TO SUBMIT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE BILL TO PARLIAMENT
Czech Senator Jaromir Stetina announced he ready to work for acknowledgement of the Armenian Genocide. «I am ashamed the Czech Republic does not have the legislation up to now. I ask the Armenian community to support me in solving the problem," he said. Stetina explained that his intention became stronger after the parliament of neighboring Poland passed a resolution over the Armenian Genocide. "Modern Turkey, the successor of the Ottoman Empire should have a sober evaluation of its history," added the Czech Senator.
