Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs visited Armenian Genocide Memorial today, Nov 15.

The official laid flowers to the memorial, visited Genocide Museum-Institute and made the following note in the Memory Book, “One must honor the innocent victims to prevent reoccurrence of such a crime.”

Minister Rinkēvičs will be in Armenia till November 16.

Meetings with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, parliament vice speaker Eduard Sharmazanov and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian are on the agenda.

Rinkēvičs will further deliver a speech at Diplomatic School at Armenian Foreign Ministry.
