BAKU RECURRENT ATTEMPT TO CONFUSE UN SECURITY COUNCIL WILL FAIL AGAIN, ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTRY CONSIDERS
Baku accusations of Armenia and its attempts to confuse the UN Security Council will not result in anything. Armenian foreign ministry press secretary Dzyunik Aghajanian stated when being asked by "Arminfo" agency to comment on the Azeri foreign department address to the UN Security Council on the occasion of "Armenia systematically breaking the terms of the truce." In her words, it is not the first case when trying to confuse the international community Azerbaijan sends letters to the UN and other international organizations, listing various fabricated accusations against Armenia. "It should be mentioned that none of the accusations, such as allegations about nuclear burial places in the territories controlled by Nagorno Karabakh, accumulation of terrorists, illegal circulation of arms, people and drugs in the NKR, destroying Azeri monuments, are not taken seriously. Moreover, those accusations were many times denied both by UN corresponding structures and international organizations dealing with those issues," - the press secretary noted. As of the latest accusations in violating the truce, D. Aghajanian pointed to the fact that such cases are being registered by a special representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office in the conflict zone. "Both Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh have always noted that they are exclusively for peaceful solution of the problem, violation of the cease-fire regime is not advantageous to them and any attempt of transgression will be rebuffed in a worthy manner," - the Armenian foreign ministry press secretary noted.
