As noted by the President, the draft includes some items that are of declarative nature. «The approving of regulations is one thing, that of a program, which has to include specific actions and concrete steps issuing from these, is quite another matter. Presenting the package of preliminary proposals the Armenian Minister of Trade and Economic Development Karen Chshmarityan noted that it was composed on the basis of proposals of different ministries and department that aimed at making the economic and political atmosphere of Armenia maximally close to the European standards. Having approved the package of proposals on the whole, the Armenian President noted that noted that it needs certain supplementation and amendment. Thereupon R. Kocharian commissioned respective departments to continue working to that end.
