Simon Pegg has tweeted the first official still from The World's End, Collider said.

The comedy horror film sees the actor/writer reunite with director Edgar Wright and Nick Frost.

It centres around an ill-fated pub crawl as Pegg's character reunites a group of friends to finish a drinking marathon they began a long time ago.

However, their session is interrupted by apocalyptic happenings.

The picture shows Pegg dressed in gothic attire and surrounded by Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan and Paddy Considine.

The first official poster for the film was revealed in October.

The World's End also stars Rosamund Pike, and is released in UK cinemas on August 14, 2013.
