Armenia and Georgia possess vast potential to deepen and expand bilateral relations, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said.
As he told a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Bidzina Ivanishvili, a working group will be formed to further hold intergovernmental commission meetings.
The Georgian official, in turn, stressed the need to create a common market to foster mutual integration. “Georgia’s newly-formed government aims to develop relations with the neighboring countries,” Ivanishvili said.
Two agreements on culture and harmonization of border checkpoints were signed upon the completion of the official meeting.
