Chairman of the Turkish Labor Party Dogu Perincek called the Armenian Genocide «lie of the imperialists», Blick Online reports. He made the statement on the event dedicated to the 82-nd anniversary of the Lausanne agreement. Dogu Perincek was taken to a department of Swiss police and was released after a 2-hour interrogation. To remind, Genocide denial in Switzerland is rated as penal action. Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul called Perincek's detainment inadmissible and conflicting with the principle of freedom of expression. To note, chairman of the Yusuf Halacoglu, the Chairman of the Turkish History Board (TTK), who is also changed of genocide denial refused to take part in the celebrations of the 82-nd anniversary of the formation of the Turkish state.
