Today Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met with US Congressman, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) Alcee L. Hastings, reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. In the course of the meeting the Armenian FM appreciated Alcee L. Hastings' contribution to the work of the OSCE PA, of which the OSCE PA session in Washington this July is a proof. Expressing content over the rich agenda of dynamically developing US-Armenian relations, the parties exchanged views over a number of bilateral and international issues of mutual interest. Organization of the constitutional referendum in Armenia was specifically touched upon. The Armenian FM presented the political notion of Armenia on the threshold of the referendum and the Government approaches. The interlocutors discussed regional matters, specifically the latest developments in the Karabakh settlement, as well as the Armenian-Turkish relations.
