World Youth Weightlifting Championships are ongoing in Tashkent, with George Yegikyan and Artur Sargsyan representing Armenia.

Yegikyan lifted 125 kg in the snatch to come 4th, with Sargsyan finishing 8th with 123 kg result.

Yegikyan and Sargsyan lifted 155 kg and 152 kg in the clean & jerk to come 5th and 6th respectively.

As a result, Yegikyan showed 280 kg result to come 5th, with Sargsyan finishing 7th with 275 kg result.

The championships will run until April 13.
