Nokia has fuelled rumours that it will unveil a smartphone with a whopping 41-megapixel camera next month, Digital Spy said.
The Nordic phone maker released a teaser on its official blog declaring that there are "41 million reasons" to tune in to the press conference it has scheduled for July 11.
The device in question is thought to be the Nokia EOS smartphone, a new entry addition to the firm's Lumia range with a super-powered camera similar to the one found on the 808 PureView.
Nokia has confirmed plans to live stream the New York press conference on its Conversations blog, where users will have the opportunity to post comments about the event.
The Lumia PureView EOS is expected to run the Windows Phone 8 operating system, but hardware specs are yet to surface.
A purported leaked photograph of the Lumia PureView EOS appeared online earlier this month.
