System of a Down famous American band took home the Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance. The band won its first-ever Grammy Award for the song B.Y.O.B. off its album Mezmerize. SOAD beated out some stiff competition that included Audioslave, Nine Inch Nails, Robert Plant and Queens of the Stone Age.
