No One Destroyed Muslim Culture Monuments in Karabakh
The Nagorno Karabakh Republic has an Agency for Preservation of Historical Monuments and the Armenian Agency cooperates with it and helps it, head of the Agency for Preservation of Historical and Cultural Monuments at the Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs of Armenia, professor of architecture Artem Grigoryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. "The NKR is a normal state with all attributes. There are monuments of Muslim culture and cemeteries that no one destroyed," Artem Grigoryan said. In his words, colleagues from NK ask the Agency to identify or describe some monument rather frequently.

There are two mosques in NKR. One is in Shushi, the Blue Mosque - a monument of Iranian architecture of shah Abbas II (17th century). In the words of leader of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, once willing to restore the mosque the Iranian party got the agreement of the Karabakh party. It should be added that the only building that remained in Aghdam is the mosque.
