Armenian boxer Artur Kirajyan (64kg) suffered a defeat by Russia’s Radjab Butayev in the final to win a silver medal at the Universiade ongoing in Kazan, Tatarstan.

Before reaching the final, Kirajyan won the bouts against representatives of Taipei, Belarus and Turkmenistan.
