Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian and Russia's Igor Lysyj tied the second set of Norway-hosted FIDE World Cup round 2.

A tiebreak round was announced to determine a winner in the Aronian- Lysyj pair who’ve gained 1 point each after two drawn sets.
