Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II addressed a letter to the Chairman of Caucasian Muslim Board (CMB) Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, the Holy Echmiadzin press service said.

In his letter, Karekin II requested Allahshukur Pashazadeh to take steps for return of captive Hakob Injighulyan to Armenia.

Karekin II also addressed Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill on this matter.

On the night of Aug 8, Injighulyan, born in 1991, failed to find his bearings on the ground and crossed into the Azeri-controlled territory. No meeting with the ICRC representatives has been organized so far.
