Georgia Not Against Establishment of Armenian Consulate General in Batumi
Georgia is not against establishment of Armenian Consulate General in Batumi, Georgian Ambassador to Armenia Revaz Gachechiladze told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. In his words, in this case establishment of Georgian consulate in Armenia is not necessary. "There are cases in diplomatic practice when consulates are opened one-sidedly. Turkish Consulate General has been functioning for a long time in Georgia. Later Georgian consulates were established in Istanbul and Trabzon. Georgia is an open country and we always meet the wishes of other states, especially Armenia," Revaz Gachechiladze said.
