Armenia has no intention to join the GUAM in the near future, RA Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian said at a joint press conference with Ukrainian FM Boris Tarasyuk. "Our agenda does not include GUAM membership." Oskanian said.

For his part Boris Tarasyuk informed that Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov will visit Armenia in 2006. In Tarasyuk's words, the precise terms of the visit will depend on the outcomes of the talks held by the Armenian-Ukrainian intergovernmental working group. Besides, Armenian President Robert Kocharian is scheduled to pay a visit to Ukraine this fall, he added.
