Latest Murders in Russia Not Aimed against Armenians
Latest murders in Russia are by no means aimed against Armenians, stated Armenian Ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatyan during a meeting with Armenian students of Moscow. In his words, such cases conflict with Russia's policy towards Armenia and Armenians living in Russia. Students were concerned over latest incidents with Armenian citizens. "These processes worry the societies in Russia and Armenia, which can be used by third parties, interested in weakening of the Armenian-Russian relations," says a message of the Armenian MFA.

Smbatyan acquainted the students with measures undertaken by Armenian Embassy in Moscow regarding those incidents, as well as actions of Russian authorities to disclose the latest murders.

Matters referring to possible adoption of the institute of dual citizenship in Armenia, expansion of opportunities to increase quotas, provided to Armenian citizens in Russian higher education institutions were also touched at the meeting.
