Baku Politicizes Fires in Karabakh Security Zone
Azerbaijan as always is engaged in spreading misinformation and tries to politicize the fires in the NKR security zone, head of the Armenian delegation to the PACE, RA NA Speaker Togran Torosian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. In his words, June 15, 2005 the NKR authorities urged the PACE CiO to conduct a monitoring in view of the reports on arsons.
"Two years ago the NKR requested Baku to hold a joint monitoring to prevent such occurrences but was refused. If the Azeri authorities agreed the current developments would not take place," Tigran Torosian said.
To note, head of the Azeri delegation to the PACE Samed Seidov told Trend news agency that Tigran Torosian confirmed the fact of arsons on the "seized Azeri territories."
