The Armenian national army is considered the most powerful in the South Caucasus in comparison with the Azeri and Georgian ones. "Komsomolskaya Pravda" Moscow newspaper writes it in many respects explaining the fact by the active cooperation with Russian specialists and advisors working in the allied military units. Meanwhile, according to the information possessed by the newspaper, the Azeri army is the leader in the region in the quantity of military equipment. It has a huge arsenal of ammunition inherited from the USSR. At the same time it is noted that the arms and military equipment of Azerbaijan are in an extremely threadbare condition.
