Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian met in New York with the Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement to discuss the current stage of the negotiation process within the context of GUAM's proposal to consider the issue of 'frozen conflicts' at the UN General Assembly 61st session. The sides also discussed the prospects of resuming talks on the conflict settlement.

The RA FM also met with U.S. Undersecretary of State Nicolas Burns and UN General Assembly President Sheikha Haya Rashed Al Khalifa, reported the RA MFA press office.
