MEETING OF SPEAKERS OF TREATY ON COLLECTIVE SECURITY PARTICIPANT COUNTRIES TO BE HELD IN SAINT PETERSBURG
A meeting of the chairmen of the parliaments of the Treaty on Collective Security (TCS) participant countries will be held in Saint Petersburg December 6. As reported by "Rosbalt" agency, secretary general of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly Mikhail Krotov said that though TCS did not have a parliamentary structure, having agreed the matter with the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly members, the meetings would be held within the Assembly full membership sitting. Issues of bringing into accord military regulations, the status of joint armed forces, their rights of crossing the borders of the TCS participating states will be discussed at the coming sitting. Let us remind that Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgystan, Russia and Tajikistan are participants of the Treaty.
