Azerbaijani armed forces continuously violated the ceasefire on the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh on the night of October 15-16.

According to the NKR Defense Ministry, 120 ceasefire violations were registered by Azerbaijani armed forces in the reporting period, with over 2600 shots fired from various caliber weapons, including 60- and 82-mm mortars. Ceasefire violations were more intense on the southern part of the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh.

Karabakh defense forces continue controlling the situation, retaliating in case of necessity.
