Azeri woman among suspects of Ankara bombings: Turkish media

An Azerbaijani woman, Ulker Mammadova is among the suspects of Ankara terrorist attack of October 10, Turkish media reported, according to Contact.az.

Hasan Zeynalov, the Azerbaijani Consul General in Istanbul said the Turkish government had not appealed to Azerbaijan with a request concerning its nationals' involvement of in Ankara blasts.

According to Zeynalov, one of the consular employees, together with the Turkish side is examining Mammadova's possible connection with Azerbaijan.

"We have already sent a request to the relevant authorities and are working with law enforcement agencies," Zeynalov said.

Two explosions at a peace rally in the Turkish capital Ankara have killed at least 100 people.

The blasts took place near the city's central train station.

The target appears to have been a march calling for an end to the violence with the Kurdish separatist group, the PKK.

The pro-Kurdish HDP party was among those calling for Saturday's rally for "peace and democracy", which was due to start at 12:00 local time.
