Beast on the Moon Play about Armenian Emigrants Put on Stage in Chicago
Beast on the Moon the story of an estranged, newlywed couple struggling to cope with life in Milwaukee after the Armenian Genocide of 1915, makes its Chicago debut at the Trap Door Theatre. Produced by La Costa Theatre Company, Beast on the Moon was written by Richard Kalinoski, reported the Genocide Education Network of Illinois. In efforts to continue the promotion of genocide education, on Sunday, December 10th, the Genocide Education Project of Illinois (GENI) invites the Armenian community to attend the play. Part of the proceeds from the show will go to promote genocide education in the Chicagoland area. The performance runs from November 9th to December 17th, reports the Armenian National Committee of America.

In 2004 the Beast on the Moon had success in Moscow put on stage by Armenian director Alexander Grigoryan.
