Kosovo Problem Cannot Influence on Settlement of Other Conflicts
The Kosovo problem is unique and cannot influence on the settlement of other conflicts, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby said in Yerevan upon completion of the meeting with NKR President Arkady Ghukasian.
"The Kosovo issue, in our opinion, is unique and should not have impact on other situations. I would not like to go into detail since it's beyond my responsibility. But there is one big difference. The international community represented by the UN and its Security Council initiated the Kosovo process that is coming to an end currently. The UN Security Council suspended Serbia's sovereignty over Kosovo," Semneby said.
According to him, settlement of all conflicts should be positioned for the international law, but besides the common basis of the international law each conflict situation is unique, reports newsarmenia.ru.
