Events celebrating the Gallipoli campaign in Turkey will be held on March 18, Ermenhaber.am reports citing Turkish sources.

Last year, the event was moved to be celebrated on April 24, the exact date when Armenians worldwide commemorated the Genocide centennial.

The Armenian President had slammed the move as a part of Turkey’s denialist policy, a blatant ploy to distract the international community from the events marking the centenary of the first genocide of the 20th century.
