Today neither politicians nor soldiers, but businessmen solve the Nagorno Karabakh problem. Today Nagorno Karabakh President Arkady Ghukasian stated it in Yerevan addressing the round table devoted to the prospects of social and economic development of NK. Solution of political problems is conditioned by solving economic problems, the NK President noted, calling entrepreneurs of Armenia and the diaspora to make more adventurous investments into the Karabakh economy. He also expressed hope for them to actively participate in national TV Marathons to be held in Paris and Los Angeles in the near future. Arkady Ghukasian called supporting the economic development of NK, which is deprived of international credits due to being unrecognized, as a national task. In his words, today, like during the years of the Karabakh-Azeri war, the problems of all Armenians are being solved in Karabakh. If we lose Nagorno Karabakh we will not be able to raise any other all-national questions, the President stressed. "If we cannot fortify our military victory with the economic one, we will lose everything," - Arkady Ghukasian noted. In the President's words, it is extremely important not to lose time in that respect. In political sense Nagorno Karabakh will protect its independence, Ghukasian noted. In his words, the Karabakh people do not want to involve Armenia in the political struggle. "We consider that NK is able to defend itself, and Armenia remains the guarantee for the Karabakh people and state," - the President emphasized.
