Czech Republic President visits Armenian Genocide memorial

President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman on Wednesday, June 8 visited Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide memorial to lay flowers in memory of the victims.

Accompanying the President were Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) Hayk Demoyan.

During his official visit to Armenia on June 7-9, the Czech President will meet with his Armenian colleague Serzh Sargsyan, speaker of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan, as well as Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

Following the high-level meetings, the Presidents will sign a number of documents and give a press conference to summarize the results of the visit.
