Global Competitiveness Report published by the World Economic Forum claims Armenia boasts the best quality of primary education in the region, scoring 4.1 points out of a maximum 7 and taking the 66th spot globally.

Overall, Armenia is ranked 79th out of 138 countries included in the WEF’s report, which assesses the competitiveness landscape of the economies, providing an insight into the drivers of their productivity and prosperity.

Also, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Cote D’Ivoire, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan are placed in the same position alongside Armenia.

Azerbaijan (with a score of 3.8) claimed the 81st spot, followed by Georgia (3.4) and Turkey (3.1) in the 93rd and 105th positions, respectively.

In the same index, Russia holds the 49th spot, while the United State comes in 25th.

Besides, Armenia scored 4.4 points to take the 71th spot in the higher education and training pillar.
