Baku to purchase 10 scout planes from Israel to control Karabakh
Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry is planning to purchase 10 Hermes 450 unmanned scout planes "to control the territories seized by Armenia," a source told GPSearch.Org.
"Choosing equipment, we highlight its 'invisibility' for the enemy's anti-aircraft defense, said the source in the Azeri Defense Ministry.
According to AirWar.Ru website, Hermes 450 is a multipurpose unmanned scout plane designed to observe, patrol, scout and correct fire backing. Made of composite materials, it's almost unnoticeable for anti-aircraft defense devices. The plane takes off and lands to a 350 meter long runway.
