ARMENIA SERIOUSLY DISTURBED OVER COMPLICATION OF RUSSIAN-GEORGIAN RELATIONS
Armenia is seriously disturbed over the tension originated in relations between Russia and Georgia. As reported by "Arminfo" agency, Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated it. Commenting on the possible impact of the crisis in Russian-Georgian relations on the situation in the South Caucasian region, the minister did not rule out possible negative consequences, as in his words, "the region is rather small and everything is interconnected here: any tension is fraught with threat of destabilization in neighbor countries." V.Oskanian expressed hope for the parties to find a mutually acceptable way out of the created situation.
