Any CSTO country has the right to cooperate with any alliance
The Collective Security Treaty Organization doesn't have an agreement on cooperation with NATO yet. Nevertheless, any CSTO member country has the right to cooperate with any alliance, CSTO Deputy Secretary-General Toksatyn Buzubayev told a news conference today.
"Russia, like Armenia, has a partnership plan with NATO. So, Armenia can launch joint programs with the Alliance if it doesn't conflict with the CSTO Charter," he said.
A member of the CSTO, Armenia cooperates with NATO in the framework of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).
