The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 229 to reach 41,023 on Thursday, August 13 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 405 more people have recovered, three patients have died from Covid-19, while four others carrying virus died from other causes in the past 24 hours.

180,497 tests have been performed since the beginning of the outbreak in the country, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 33,897 people have recovered, 809 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 238 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
