1,235 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh from Armenia on Thursday, November 19, the Russian Defense Ministry reports.
27 buses, accompanied by patrol vehicles of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and military police, started from Yerevan to the main square of Stepanakert.
About 4,000 Karabakh resident, who were previously forced to leave their homes, have already returned to Stepanakert.
Also, the Defense Ministry said, the Russian side has started work to establish an Interdepartmental Center for Humanitarian Response in Stepanakert.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev have signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan has said he has agreed to the deal signed by Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan.
