President: Peace, recognition are Karabakh's foreign policy priorities

Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan has cited peace and international recognition are Karabakh's foreign policy priorities.

Harutyunyan made the remarks at a meeting with the employees of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and Minister Hayk Khanumyan on Wednesday, March 3.

The socio-economic situation in the country in the aftermath of Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh on September 27, 2020, the ways to overcome the challenges and the role of the ministry in settling the problems were discussed.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
