Pashinyan calls out Azerbaijan for anti-Armenian polices, territorial claims

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Thursday, May 6 accused Azerbaijan of anti-Armenian polices, territorial claims and destruction of Armenian cultural and religious heritage.

At a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Yerevan, Pashinyan said Azerbaijan's actions and its manipulation of the issue of the release of the prisoners of war are aimed at escalating the situation in the region and undermining previously-reached agreements.

Pashinyan said Armenia's position is that the process of the peaceful settlement of the conflict should resume to determine the final status of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).
