Russia to provide $3.2m to Armenia for post-conflict reconstruction

Russia will provide more than $3 million from the federal budget in 2021 for the post-conflict reconstruction of some regions of Armenia, according to a government order published on Saturday, May 15.

The document says funds in the amount of up to $3.2 million will be transferred to the UN Development Program "to finance the costs associated with the implementation of the project to assist the most affected regions of Armenia in post-conflict reconstruction."

The Russian Foreign Ministry had been instructed to inform the Armenian government and the UN Development Program about the decision.
