Several people were injured in a mass brawl between locals and a group of Azerbaijani migrants in the Georgian town of Dmanisi, Kvemo Kartli region, on Sunday, May 16, Mtavari TV reported.

According to surveillance footage published online, about three dozen people took part in the scuffle, many of whom were armed with baseball bats, sticks and truncheons.

The situation escalated in the late afternoon, hours after the group first met, and a skirmish began which left several people with severe bodily injuries and cars and shop windows damaged.
