Acting Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that the officially confirmed number of losses in the Second Karabakh War from the Armenian side is about 3,700 at the moment.
"We assume that the number of victims will reach 4000," Pashinyan said.
Some 11,000 servicemen, meanwhile, were injured in hostilities throughout the 44 days of the war.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev on November 9 signed a statement to end the war in Karabakh after almost 45 days. Under the deal, the Armenian side has returned all the seven regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, having lost a part of Karabakh itself in hostilities.
