Putin-Pashinyan meeting: Karabakh, Armenia-Russia ties on the table

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov on Wednesday, July 7 stressed the importance of the visit of the caretaker Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to Moscow, noting that his meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin will take place in the afternoon.

"In the afternoon, a meeting is planned with the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Pashinyan, who will be in Moscow on a working visit. There will be a conversation with Pashinyan, followed by a working lunch for the President and the Prime Minister," Peskov said, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Peskov, no documents will be signed following the talks between Putin and Pashinyan. He said the two will discuss the situation in Karabakh, the deployment of the Russian military who are already in the region, and bilateral relations.

The acting Armenian Prime Minister and the Russian President last met on April 7.
