The remains of four more Nagorno-Karabakh victims were recovered on Friday, July 23 from Varanda (Fizuli), which came under Azerbaijan's control during the 44-day in fall 2020, authorities report.
The bodies, which most probably belong to volunteers and reservists, will be identified through DNA analysis, Karabakh's State Service for Emergency Situations said.
Since November 13, the rescue teams have found the bodies and remains of 1615 people, including dozens of civilians, who had failed to leave their homes when their settlements went under Azerbaijan's control.
