Armenia to provide assistance to employers hiring disabled ex-soldiers

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia will provide assistance to employers who will hire former servicemen injured or disabled during the hostilities, according to a decision approved by the government on Thursday, August 12.

According to the Ministry, for each employed ex-serviceman, the employer will be provided with support in the amount of quarterly income tax from the employee's salary in the amount of not more than AMD 100,000, for a period of 1 year.

Also, employers will receive a one-time compensation in the amount of up to AMD 500,000, if there is a need to equip the workplace for their disabled employees.
