Armenia starts producing titanium prostheses for injured soldiers

Armenia has started producing its first titanium prostheses for soldiers injured in the 44-day war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in fall 2020, the Diaspora High Commissioner's Office reveals.

Diaspora Armenians from France, Russia, the United States, Germany and Lebanon, as well as Armenians from the homeland have teamed up to establish the Hybrid Laboratory (Medical & Health), as well as the DDC (Digital Diagnostic Center), and MDS (Medical Dental Shop) centers.

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated in the opening ceremony of the institution, calling the venture an excellent example of cooperation between different Diaspora communities. The Commissioner toured the facility and learned about their activity.

11 wounded servicemen have already received their titanium prostheses thanks to successful surgeries and have returned to normal life.
