The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 1192 to reach 283,183 on Monday, October 18 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.

Fresh figures also revealed that 996 more people recovered, 27 patients died from Covid-19, while one person carrying the virus died from other reasons in the past 24 hours.

A total of 11,204 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.

So far, 254,932 people have recovered, 5805 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1234 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
