More Armenia-Azerbaijan meetings expected "in near future"

Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers will hold more meetings under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in the near future, which will help create conditions for the resumption of processes to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict peacefully, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan told lawmakers on Thursday, November 4.

"I believe the biggest achievement was the separate meeting of the Armenian Foreign Minister and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on September 23 and 24 in New York, followed by the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs," Gevorgyan said, Armenpress reports.

"The co-chairs issued a statement after the meeting, reaffirming their commitment to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. I think it is a very important detail at this stage."

According to him, the Armenian side is going to continue making efforts.
