Armenia to increase minimum salary by 25% by 2026

The minimum salary will be increased by 25% by 2026 in Armenia , Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben Sargsyan told the parliament on Friday, November 5.

“By 2026, the minimum wage is expected to reach AMD 85,000 ($180),” Sargsyan said. He noted that the first measure is planned for 2023, and discussions with the experts of the Ministry of Finance are currently underway.

The minimum wage in Armenia is currently 68,000 drams (less than $145).
